[ILUG] New Beeee.. need help with Irish Broadband and SUSE

Hi.
Looking for information on setting up connection with Irish Broadband
service. it works on the XP box but SUSE is not interested nor are any of
the other CD based distros I have.
I'm a bit new to it all so it's probably easy. All the FAQs are based on
modems so no joy there.
I would think it would be just set IP add. Subnet mask and Default Gateway
on the network card. Teh brouser I would hope would pick it up and run with
it.!!! or not.!

Not sure if I doing this the right way but god loves a chancer or something
like that.
Hope I'm not stepping on toes by posting to the wrong place.
Thaks to anyone for there time.
Reply to woodfrederick at hotmail.com if U like.

Regards.
