I was going to suggest Unbuntu but Padraig beat me to it. You can order
Ubuntu @ www.ubuntulinux.org and they'll send you the CD's free of charge,
they even pay for the postage. It is a South African linux distro and is
supported by Mark Shuttleworth, who is a Linux/IT icon in South Africa.
Aparently Ubuntu ships with the latest Gnome available.
