Hi All,
I'm trying to put together a proxy server for our company to replace
an old MS Proxy 2.0 server (sad I know). I'd like to prove that this server
can be replaced by Linux / OSS without having to resort back to an MS
system.
The issue is that it need to be able to do the following tasks:
* Proxy access to web & ftp sites
* User authentication against a Windows domain controller (currently
NT)
* Ad blocking
* Malicious script & virus blocking
While I've got the general bits to do this (Fedora, iptables, Samba, Squid,
squidGuard, McAfee uvscan), I'm having some problems locating the
documentation that will tie this all together.
I have no problem in setting-up FC2 with Samba 3 as a 'member server' with
uvscan, and I've been looking at docs for setting up Squid & squidGuard on a
box but it's the antivirus bit that is getting to me.
How do I get Squid (or more likely, squidGuard) to scan the web pages and
downloads using the chosen AV package?
Needless to say, most of my users are using Internet Explorer (renowned for
it's security features), so virus scanning is vital.
I've been googled for a while now but with no success.
Help please...
