It can't then perform the functions of an AGM e.g. elect committee etc.
As the holder of the chequebook, I had said that if we weren't quorate
this year, I was going to decamp to the nearest pub with who ever
bothered to turn up and drink the bank balance. As it happened, my
bluff was called.
