Much as I admire the efficiency of buying a solution from the same
people who gave you the problem[1], I've (very) recently loaded the
Ubuntu prerelease onto my iBook2, and find its hardware support quite
good. I'll be working on trying to fix the sleep-mode stuff, though.
[1] Not to mention the nostalgia appeal of liking a proprietary Unix
because it can "do more". NeXTStep was rather nice, for such a thing.
I wonder what ghastly fate overcame it. ;->
