[ILUG] [OT] web design companies

[ILUG] [OT] web design companies

The extremely cynical and embittered answer is....

...the suits who run IT divisions in Corporate Ireland would probably have
difficulty operating a Playstation and like to think that if they spend lots
of money on a piece of software it will work as anticipated and make them
look clever...and if it doesn't they have someone to ring up and shout at to
make them look authorative and managerial...

...but there probably are other answers too.

howdy,
Can anyone answer me this question.
Why do the fast majority of Irish web design companies always use IIS.
I have noticed that huge number of .ie domains are hosted on IIS, I
don't have the stats to back it up but every site bar a few that i stuck
into netcraft seem to be running IIS, Is this the norm for ireland and
its web design companies.
end of rant.
