It looks like some combination of Perl, Wget and Nagios should do the
job.
By the way, someone mentioned they didn't know the cost of the Merc-Int
tools, last time I checked, which was a couple of years ago
they tried to sell me £30,000 worth of stuff for monitoring. Needless to
say I didn't buy it.
