Dunno. Never used Forte Agent. I use KDE KNode, myself. Supports 
multiple servers happily and is generally similar in  look and feel to 
KMail (which I like), perhaps unsurprisingly.

I avoid binariez off usenet so I can't comment there. 

But KNode does not do [download-for-later-] offline reading as far as I 
can tell, which annoys me, but not enough for me to do anything about 
it now that I have broadband.
