Hey all,
Tired of explaining to the less technically minded what the following
"wierd yokes" are, or even why their "e-mails keep bouncing even though
I copied the address EXACTLY":
-> name at domain.com.nospam
-> name (at) domain.com
-> name (at) domain (dot) com
Well my editor over at the Linux Gazette uses a neat little utility
called text2gif (from libungif-progs) and ImageMagick to produce small
(<300 bytes) images of an e-mail addresses (see
http://linuxgazette.net/authors/odonovan.html for an example).
It's as easy as this:
text2gif -t "name at domain.com" | convert -border 1x1 -bordercolor
"#000000" -negate - png:name.png
Regards,
Barry
