No other way about. When I installed webmin I had connectivity briefly. 
An e-mail came in onto the windows box and I nearly fell over!

yes two interfaces. eth0 is connected to the Cable modem and is dhcp
eth1 is connected to the windows box and has static ip addy currently 
192.168.0.2
the windows box has one interface and has a static ip of 192.168.0.3
