Finally found someone who can source Dual Opteron M/B's! Quicktec.ie in
Galway. At least I'm in Galway ATM to make things easy. The only down side
is, the board I'm looking at is 595 Euro's + VAT!
Then add 720 per Opteron processor and a few 1G Registered 400Mhz DDR RAM's,
it's starting to look like it's far outside my budget )-:
But, when I dream, at least I dream big (-;
My fall-back is one of the new Athlon64 upgrade kits now hitting the shelves.
I want 64 bit and I want it NOW! I want a system that does not support any
current 'stable' release of M$ software (-;
Cheers,
John Gay
