This is not the only cause. Back on the full vulnerability ML, a
couple of people mentionned rooted debian boxes too. It sounds like
the current Debian kernel on stable boxes might be vulnerable to some
undocumented exploit.
So my question to the first poster is this : were you running a Debian
kernel or a custom one ?
