[ILUG] DVD data disc

[ILUG] DVD data disc

Hi All,

I have an IDE DVD burner. It definitely works. I've used it to archive
DVD videos. That however, was a while back and I can't remember the
exact command. This time however, I'm trying to make a pure data disc.

So I've created a 4 gig ISO, and ran the following:

cdrecord -dao -v speed=1 dev=0,0,0 dvd.iso

And it very kindly makes a coaster. The system log tells me:

sr0: CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.

Any guesses or pointers?
Regards,
Dale.
