Can anyone recommend a TV card for Linux that has a PAL tuner? And an
Irish supplier? I would like to use MythTV on Debian to capture NTL cable
(analog AND digital). (I keep missing _Star_Trek:_Enterprise_. :-)
I am on temporary assignment here in Ireland (Lucan), and I have a couple
NTSC tuners. I was hoping they could be re-parameterized to capture PAL
even though it says "NTSC" on the card. On the NTL analog cable, my ATI TV
Wonder VE gets autodetected as a PAL* tuner. It locks on but gets no
color. Is there a way to make an NTSC-only card capture PAL in color? If
I try to use one of my NTSC cards on the Composite from the digital set top
box, will I be wasting my time?
