I've been researching a replacement for our proprietary NAS and was
thinking about building something with 3ware SATA cards and possibly
some Fibre Channel PCI cards.

I know from experience that the 3Ware cards/SATA works well, but I am
interested in hearing from anyone how has use Fibre Channel with Linux.
Emulex seem to be very well supported and not too expensive.
