I would google it but I can't: DNS problems mean google won't
resolve for me. That is, nslookup and dig time out on
www.google.com et al, but work for many addresses. Debian box.
Oddly, an adjacent windows machine works fine, except that nslookup
in a dos box also times out for google addresses (despite firefox
finding it). The Windows box uses dhcp, and I can't find out how to
see what settings it has (e.g. see if I'm using a deprecated
nameserver or something).
