So far I've used the bluetooth dongle MS supply with their mice,
the dlink DBT-120, the MSI 6897 (I think) and the Dell builtin one
on their laptops. All have worked fine.
The range varies. The dlink was the shortest, and the MSI one can pickup
stuff from the surrounding offices in work.
I don't remember having had any major hassle with any of them.
Especially not in any modern distro that ships bluez.
