Yeah i can connect over the tcp port no hassle as well as the unix, I have
the same setup on the windows box as the linux box. ie mysql & tomcat on
windows, mysql and tomcat on linux. I can only see the old JVM which I don't
think its causing me any hassle and to be honest I don't see it in processes
list. I'll have a deeper look though.
