I think this was posted to the list a while back, but I'll post again,
since it hasn't been mentioned. Mediain Linux
(http://www.mediainlinux.org/) claims to have a load of apps for audio,
2d and 3d video editing. It's a live CD based on Knoppix.

Agnula is another one (http://www.agnula.org/), but I can't remember if
it does video or not. It's currently down for a complete rebuild after
an attack (aside : anyone running GForge 3.x should disable the "scm"
subsystem until a patch is released).
