Quoting Niall O Broin (niall at linux.ie):

Well, I imagine doing "rpm -Uvh" on just the Adobe Acrobat package would
suffice. I remember marching past their headquarters building on behalf
of DVD Jon, and a meaner bunch of control freaks I can scarcely imagine
in the proprietary software world. For _them_ to grant the right of
public redistribution on acroread would be akin to the Berlin Wall
coming down.
By which I mean that it _could_ have happened between some two SUSE
releases, but I can probably win any number of pub wagers, while
waiting.
> That policy absolutely works for ostriches, no?
>> And Rick - it's WAY past your bedtime.
And so it was -- but I was waiting to take my pot roast out of the oven.
