Maybe, but there is a danger of it becoming a dead backwater after the initial enthusiasm wanes, so it may be better to keep posting here.  What about submitting an article on how you got as far as you did for the Linux in Industry section of linux.ie?  It gives others confidence that a particular route really worked, rather than the (usually true, but often untested assertion) that "xxx can be done with Linux".

If anyone gets stuck with a specific Windows-only issue, there are enough M$ haters here to help out.
