[ILUG] Formatting second HD

[ILUG] Formatting second HD

Hi

I got a Samsung 40gig HD for my linux server just for backing up.

WOuld this be a wise practice:

Get cron to do the following at 3am every morning:

mount /mnt/backupdrive

cp all file to be backedup

umount /mnt/backupdrive

Now, I have the drive in, do I use fdisk to format it?

WHat format should I use? It would be handy that I could take out the
drive and plug it into a windose box... so FAT32 ?

Thanks
