[ILUG] Another Raid 1 Question

[ILUG] Another Raid 1 Question

Frank Murphy lists2005 at frankly3d.com
Wed Aug 10 11:01:26 IST 2005

Q1: In real-life terms how many usb drives can be attached to a Raid 1
File-server currently fc3, with USB connector 2 being a mirror of USB
connector 1, all IDE slots are full soft raid (no raid card).
hda =FC3,Cdrom, [hdb mirrors hdc].

Q2: At this stage if 2 PCI Raid cards were installed, could I transfer
my (almost) full disks to them, without losing data.
Or would they work in addition to my hdb+hdc.
