As some of you are no doubt already aware, I'm back in the aul' sod for
a flying weekend visit. Since I'm not flying out until Monday morning, a
Pint of the Day seems like an obligatory committment.
Suggested venue is the "Long Stone" in Dublin (suggested to me by
someone else who knows Dublin. Though she said anywhere 'City-Centre' /
'South-Side'-ish was fine.)
We're travelling up from Limerick so we may be a tad on the early or a
tad on the late side - hence 8pm is to be taken as IST (Irish Standard
Time.) A few of the regular crew have my mobile number - and anyone who
wants it can poke me via the medium of irc.linux.ie/#linux over the
course of today.
I would post a link to pub on google maps, but unfortunately google
have completely failed to optimise their system to work competently over
a flaky 9600 baud GSM connection (I suspect this may be asking a bit
much, even of google ;-) ) and Voda-we're-like-competent have as yet
completely failed to activate my GPRS.
Hopefully I'll see a good bunch of you on the Sunday evening. I'm
trying to get someone to supply a penguin, I'll post later when I see if
I've managed to acquire one for the evening... ;-)
