Ross,
My family and closest friends are geographically dispersed through US,
Canada, Portugal, Brazil, Italy and Sweden.
A combination of BT for Ireland/UK, TeleStunt and Skype for everywhere
else made a big difference from initial Eircom bills. The average
figures dropped from 140.00 (no broadband) to 60.00, including broadband.
A quick check can show the alternatives
www.zivva.com
UK landline : 5.7 c/min
Vodafone : 32.7 c/min
Cellnet : 25.0 c/min
one2one : 30.4 c/min
www.skype.com
UK landline : 2.0 c/min
All mobile : 23.6 c/min
www.telestunt.ie
UK landline : irish local call rate
All mobile : 15 c/min
BT Ireland is cheaper than Eircom.
www.swiftcall.ie offers 10.49 c/min against eircom's 15.35 (day) and
8.49 against 10.44 (evenings).
I wish your friend massive savings!

Hi,
I have a friend who has a Irish/UK business and needs an Irish number
that he can redirect at will(preferably) to UK numbers. He already tried
[1] but the quality of service was poor. Something with 99% QoS is
needed. Anybody any pointers?
Thanks.
