Many are, but just not publicly. Have a look for a report from Prof. Brian
Fitzgerald from UL about Beaumont OSS usage. Also there are several hospitals
using OSS DMS/CMS systems for internal use.
Also VISTA is not just the name for Windows XP +++ but was before that the
name of a system from the US Dept Veteran Affairs for managing hospitals. It
is also used in quite a few hospitals outside the US ( IIRC one of the
largest in Finland or Germany ). More links/news can be found on
