Have you considered the wiki option? We had the same problem with the
SpamAssassin website, until we wikified 99% of it. Now it's thriving.
Fundamentally, the issue was not the community's fault -- it was down to
the barriers between community members, and page editability. Expecting
people to sign up for accounts, mail HTML to a trusted "editor", negotiate
what they were to write through email -- all of these things just sufficed
to turn a worthwhile, easy, fun job into a boring,
more-trouble-than-its-worth chore.
If ILUG were to wikify, it certainly wouldn't be the first wikified LUG
site, either:
