Unfortunetly we use terminal services over the 169.254.0.0 range.
I'm trying to configure YaST to set the default gateway over that range as 10.133.1.1.
ie:
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
10.133.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
10.133.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 eth1
169.254.0.0 10.133.1.1 255.255.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0
127.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo
0.0.0.0 10.133.6.12 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0
Whenever I restart network the route is there but it shows the gw as 0.0.0.0? It's also set that way in /etc/sysconfig/network/routes:
169.254.0.0 10.133.1.1 255.255.0.0 eth-id-00:11:43:37:83:92
default 10.133.6.12 - -
~
...even so when restarting network it reverts back to the 0.0.0.0 default gateway for 169.254.0.0

Any ideas why YaST will not hold the gateway?
