I've been googling with no effect other than confusing myself, but
do there exist simple utilities to display the dependency tree of a
makefile?
Emacs- or LaTeX-related would be great, or ASCII or eps ...
What I primarily want is to be able to represent the dependency
structure quickly and cleanly to someone who doesn't need to
understand make (category could include myself: I sometimes find
make syntax somewhat write-only).
