Interesting way of requesting it alright :)

Your best bet is to contact both committee at linux.ie and
webmaster at linux.ie who might be able to "service" your requests :)

ilug@ is the members list (but then you've already been told that !)

I've been told that my original response about meet-ups was a bit terse,
so apologies for that, essentially what I was trying to say was that
events (technical or otherwise) can tend to be troublesome to organise,
and the experience of those of us who went to that trouble over the
years was dwindling interest etc. Thus, the usual response to the group
when someone asks "is there ever going to be a blah" is "yes, if you're
willing to organise it - it will happen".
