Hi guys,
trying to compile new version of gcompris for nephew, running vanila SuSE 10
I get the following output,

 # ./configure
.ALL.GOOD.NEWS.UNTIL
checking for Mix_OpenAudio in -lSDL_mixer... no
configure: error: *** SDL_mixer not found. Visit http://www.libsdl.org and get
it
BUT
# rpm -ql SDL_mixer
/usr/bin/playmus
/usr/bin/playwave
/usr/lib/libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0
/usr/lib/libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0.2.4
/usr/share/doc/packages/SDL_mixer
/usr/share/doc/packages/SDL_mixer/CHANGES
/usr/share/doc/packages/SDL_mixer/COPYING
/usr/share/doc/packages/SDL_mixer/README
.SO.IS.IT.IN.THERE.?
# strings /usr/lib/libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0|grep OpenAudio
Mix_OpenAudio
SDL_OpenAudio
tried configuring it with --disable-SDL-test, no change.

From gcompris.spec: Requires: libSDL_mixer1.2

Any ideas!!
Thanks Phil
