Probably just means you haven't installed g++, the c++ compiler from
within the gcc toolset. Don't know what distro you're using, but
you'll almost certainly find g++ within the package-management system
without any major hassle.
If it turns out that you do have g++ installed, then there might be
problems with the config script (if it's not finding it), but this is
less likely to be the problem I think.
