Most people I know who own one say that's the first thing they swap out.
Apart from whatever problems I may have with other aspects of the player
the idea of including a terrible pair of cans with a high-end music
device strikes me as odd, especially given how people talk about other
aspects of the player. The speakers/phones are one of the most important
components of any system and to cut corners on this... well, you know
the rest.
I'm curious as to why you bothered getting the original headphones
replaced by Apple - were they free?
