Funnily enough, I had looked at the horizon website,
www.hos.horizon.ie but, it wasn't immediately obvious whether or not
they sold such boxes, and I seem to remember a thread a couple of months
ago, where somebody, was looking for an opteron and directed to komplett.

Indeed... basically I'd like to put a server into a colocation facility,
with one of the good and highly respectable companies who regularly post
to ILUG, also, I'd like for that box, to carry a 64 bit cpu... I like
the idea of some sort of PowerPC, but I'm not even sure, if such boxes
really exist (a) or get sold to people in individual 1u server
configurations(b). It would probably be much simpler to buy Dell's entry
level Xeon, but I like the idea of a 64 bit machine... for no good
reason, I'm sure I've been reading too many Neal Stephenson books lately.
that mightn't have happened, I accept.
