hey John, Thanks for the reply, I have two file in the /etc folders
that have modprobe contained in them. these are modprobe.conf and
modprobe.conf.local. In both I see no resemble of anything to do
with Nvidia drivers. I have looked up on different site and found
that this file should be contained in /etc/modprobe.preload. Can I
just create this file? sorry for the newbie questions I'm completely
new to linux.
