I do not entirely understand your question, but if you need to share files
within a folder between a few users, then you can do something like this:
chmod 2110 /var/pets/cat
chown nobody:pets /var/pets/cat -R
Make all users who require access to the folder "cat" members of the
"pets" group.
e.g.: usermod -g pets frank
