See www.playstation2-linux.com. The kit comes with network card and
the hard disk.
If you're looking to do game design on it, get ps2linux. It's what its
designed for, and has access to the ps2 hardware, and an active
community. If you're not into game design, then dont get it. It's old
and slow, and completely unsuitable for, say, running openoffice, or
using as a desktop machine.
