Greylisting doesn't block all spam; it merely blocks messages which
aren't retried after a temporary delivery failure. At the moment, lots
of spam bulkmailers don't retry after temporary failures, so it's a
win. If bulkmailers are rewritten to be more RFC-compliant, then
greylisting will stop working - but spam will be that little bit more
expensive to send.
