I'll rise to that bait ...
One the one hand... it really worries/irritates me that galeon,
epiphany, firefox and mozilla all use _best_ case 13mb of memory, right
after I click a browser button somewhere. Konqueror does the same
thing... and my company is stingy about this and won't give me more ram
for one of the few p4 boxes in the building.
On the other hand... who am I to complain about the memory footprint of
an excellent browser, running on software I use for _free_ ?
I think the developers of the software in question, deserve praise, for
a job well done, rather then... derision for shortcoming _x_.
All systems have shortcomings, warts, knobs and bumps.... etc.
