I so agree.
I was looking at LDAP the other day,
and couldn't make head or tails of it.
What is it for anyway?
Do any normal people speak X500?
(I exclude Computer Scientists from this category.)

Although I skimmed through an LDAP FAQ and an LDAP tutorial,
I didn't meet a single concrete example of LDAP in action.
