Hi,

I have a brand new Creative Sound Blaster Live 24-bit card plugged into
a tyan dual
opteron board running Suse 9.2 64 bit with Kernel 2.6.8-24.11

Suse's YAST configuration utility detects the card fine, but when it
tries to load the module
snd-audigyls, this logs show this:

Feb 16 07:18:05 encoder1 kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:02:02.0[A] -> GSI 26 (level, low) -> IRQ 185
Feb 16 07:18:05 encoder1 kernel: Model 1006 Rev 00000000 Serial 10061102
Feb 16 07:18:06 encoder1 kernel: ALSA sound/pci/ac97/ac97_codec.c:1964: AC'97 0 does not respond - RESET
Feb 16 07:18:06 encoder1 kernel: ALSA sound/pci/ac97/ac97_codec.c:1972: AC'97 0 access is not valid [0x0], removing mixer.
Feb 16 07:18:06 encoder1 kernel: AudigyLS: probe of 0000:02:02.0 failed with error -5

google is not yielding anything much for me, anybody seen this before,
or have any ideas?

Cheers,
Jonathan.
