from what i read, apparently not. ical is a great standard though and
it appears loads of apps are beginning to use it. my recent calendaring
adventure discovered the following:
windows + firefox + calendaring: no
windows + sunbird: yes
windows + sunbird + non-transparent http proxy: no
windows + mozilla + calendaring + http proxy: yes
linux + sunbird + http proxy + manually entering proxy info into prefs.js: yes
linux + firefox + calendaring: yes
linux + mozilla + calendaring + http proxy: yes
still can't figure out how to click on a .ics url and have the calendar
plugin pop up on mozilla/firefox, but i'm just glas i got stuff working
as well as i have!
