I don't use smoothwall, but I do use ddclient to update dyndns
records. Don't know if this tool is part of smoothwall, or if
smoothwall has some other equivalent utility. It's a stand alone
perl-script, so you could just put it into the crontab for 23rd of the
month or whatever, and force an update.
