What program are you using to dial up, kppp perhaps?

Do we presume you can succesfully dialup with these details from some other
operating system? If not, make sure you have the correct phone number as a
friend recently was using the wrong number and kept getting similar
symptoms. Something about the difference between the gofree number and the
paid account one, or some such.
Full details are listed below, the gofree accounts apparently need to use a
1892 number.
