[ILUG] [OT] Data recovery from a damaged hard drive

[ILUG] [OT] Data recovery from a damaged hard drive

Seriously, ask your manager what exactly he wants to recover from the
drive. It will probably turn out to be something benign and if the
disk is physically damaged then recovery *will* be expensive.

As to destroying data on drives, a good low level format while
thumping the drive with a mallot generally does the trick
sufficiently.

Regards,
Stephen
