Apparently so - at least according to the "Installation with VNC" section
of the SuSE 9.3 install manual.
Alternatively, can you install it from a laptop or other PC over a serial
console? Since it has a text-based installer I don't see why not. Still a
good bit more cumbersome than having the installer pick up your USB
device, though.
