[ILUG] Alternative methods of installing Suse 9.3 Professional

[ILUG] Alternative methods of installing Suse 9.3 Professional

A developer of BrlTTY has offered to take a look at a bootable image for
the suse installer so he can add BRLTTy support. I've had a look for the
boot images that are mentioned in the suse administrators guide but haven't
found them on either the DVDs or CDs that were sent.

I'm thinking of compressing CD 1 of the install set and leaving it on a
server but uploading 500 megs will take ages and I'm not sure how much
bandwidth the developer has at his disposal. Could someone give me any
ideas? Is there somewhere I can point him to have a look at disk one?

I think I'll face another problem. The text installation is started when a
Braille display is detected but if this isn't the case how is one who can't
see the screen suppose to reach this?

Any suggestions welcome

Darragh
