I suggested vim because hes obviously new to all this, I prefer it to emacs
myself, I thought it might be worth while for him to check it out.
I suggestied to learn about /dev and /proc because I find its good to learn
about your environment before you go doing stuff.

you obviously have some issues with me, :p and are just picking on whatever I
write for the hell of it /
