I have an MSI-6967 and I ave never had a problem with it. Can't seem to
find them any more in komplett, but I think that most USB ones are fine
with linux now.

What mobile do you have?

I used the following with mine (SE T68i, SE T630):

Multisync, to sync contacts and calendars:
http://multisync.sf.net/

gnome-bluetooth and gnome-phonemanager:
http://usefulinc.com/software/gnome-bluetooth/

(If you are using fedora core nrpms (nrpms.net) is a good source for
these)

and bluemote, which is frankly bloody useless (well, not totally), but
fun nonetheless:
http://www.geocities.com/saravkrish/progs/bluemote/
