[ILUG] USB Card reader for digital camera card - Fedora Core 4

[ILUG] USB Card reader for digital camera card - Fedora Core 4

I tried this moring to use the card reader for my digital camera without
sucess.

Im following http://vic.gedris.org/linux-UsbMassStorage/ which seemd to
be the most logical of the google entries.

He claims that the device should be truely plug and play (ha ha)

The device seems to be recognised by the pc as the indicator light does
come on and there is disc activity at the time of plugging it in.

If you look at the article (which is probably a bit old now) it talks
about using sg3-utils but before going down this road does anyone know
if there is a way of getting the device added to the filesystem directly
using core4 / gonme?

Cheers

David
